[Plugin: Automatic WordPress Backup] Feature Request: Backup Profiles

  • Looking forward to the delta-backups! Hope that feature comes out of beta soon.

    An additional feature request:

    Backup profiles, rather than one backup scheme. i.e. “Daily”, “Weekly”, “Monthly”, “Custom” – with all settings for each. (See BackupBuddy, for example.)

    For example, I would like to backup my database and config files daily, but my uploads perhaps only weekly or monthly. Or, I might want to have one delta-backup that updates daily, but do a separate DB/config backup Daily, and a full backup Monthly.

  • Interesting idea. I’d been thinking about something along these lines but this fleshes it out a bit more. Once we get the next version completely stable, I’ll look at this again.
