[Plugin: Auto ThickBox Plus] Does not seem to work using NexGEN

Thank you for pointing to your site. It’s helpful.

Your site loads “wp-content/plugins/auto-thickbox-plus/thickbox.min.js” and “wp-includes/js/thickbox/thickbox.css” for some reason. The former is improved thckbox.js in the plugin but the latter is built-in thickbox.css in WordPress. So you should use “wp-content/plugins/auto-thickbox-plus/thickbox.min.css” in the plugin instead of the latter one.

There may be problems in your theme or other plugins.

I’m suing NexGEN Gallery, but I have disabled Thickbox in NesGen–which uses the WP Thickbox files.

Any idea why this is happening or how I can fix it?

OK I think I found the problem. I’m also using nexGen gallery optimizer.

I deactivated it and Auto-Thickbox worked and the normal WP thickbox css did not load.

It seems that the Optimizer allows nexGEN to run faster, so if there is anything I can do to to use it and Auto Thickbox, let me know. See the image attached.

Now I have some questions about the ATB options. First thing is that i want to take out the navigation options in the bottom. This seems like a WP Thickbox option that I can’t seem to disable.

You’re right. I installed NextGEN Gallery Optimizer and can reproduce the problem. I debugged it and found that it deregisters and reregisters thickbox.css even if NextGEN Gallery uses ThickBox Effect. This is a problem of NextGEN Gallery Optimizer. So you or the author need to modify the plugin to solve the problem.

Now I have some questions about the ATB options. First thing is that i want to take out the navigation options in the bottom.

In NextGEN Gallery options, select “Gallery – Options – Effects” and remove rel="%GALLERY_NAME%" code at the text area.

What’s second thing?

Second thing you must wait! ?? lol I have some question about the options not working in the ATB options page. I’ll post later on that. Going to relax a little now.

Thanks for yuor fast help. You have no idea how much you helped! Without your plugin I would not have been able to use Fotomoto shopping cart with WP and NexGEN like I wanted to. So yeah, thanks a bunch for that.
