[Plugin: Auto Post Thumbnail] Actually automated or not?

I just used this plugin and while it did create thumbnails for the my old posts..I ran feedwordpress and posted some new stuff I waited nearly 20 minutes and none of the new post developed thumbnails automatically..I had to generate thumbnails again via the plugin..I thought this was supposed to be automatic..am I doing something wrong? This thing has no settings to set.
