[Plugin: Author Exposed] How to implement an onHover event?

Would it be possible to modify this plugin to include an onHover event? In other words, when a user hovers over the author’s name, the information box pops up? It is not intuitive to click on a hyperlink just to get a pop-up box. Normally one assumes that clicking on a link will bring up a new page, which is rarely what the readers of an article want to happen.

I really like the functionality this plugin provides and I think adding onHover would make it just about perfect.
