    @frau_schmidt:

    OK, I think maybe you have another plugin that is causing a problem. Could you give me the list of plugins you installed on your blog?

    Martin

    sure, here we go:

    Akismet
    Audio player (well yours)
    Democracy
    Excerpt Editor
    FeedStats
    Headache With Pictures
    WordPress.com Stats
    WP Super Cache (inactive)

    OK. I know what happened. Nothing to do with your plugins. It’s my fault. I forgot to include a file in the zip file.

    Can you download the plugin from my site again and upload it to your blog? (https://wpaudioplayer.com/download)

    Once you have uploaded the files again, go to edit your post, remove the link to the song and insert it again from the media library. Now you should see this in the edit window instead of a link:

    [audio:https://yourblog.com/....../your-song.mp3]

    Save the post and let me know if it works (it should).

    wow. now everythings running as its supposed to do. thx man. i really appreciate it. i just donated 10 bucks. (thats just said to inspire others.)

    cheers

    @doryphores:

    For some reason I don’t have the open/close problem anymore. It only allows one ‘player’ to be playing at once now! ??
    I don’t know what happened earlier.

    So the only problem now is the escaped characters but that’s nothing urgent. I will continue using beta 4 and of course download each new version as it comes. ??

    Thanks again.

    @doryphores: The problem with ie7 is not caused by an out of date swfobject – at least on my site. It’s caused by a clash with an existing swfobject.js that I’m loading in my theme.

    Very nice player, the version 2.0 is fantastic!

    Hey Martin,

    could it be possible that your last changes to the player plugin also affecting other plugins? Becuase right now i cant disable any other plugin then yours. The buttons in the wp plugin menu are simply gone…
    strange.

    yeah. i just checked it. when uninstalling your plugin the buttons are back again. can you fix that?

    Craig,

    Please suggest me how to use your audio player on https://www.i-waves.com/blog

    please use my email to send me a how to document

    Thanks

    OK. I have uploaded an updated zip. Sorry about that…

    Martin

    @doryphores
    As for your second point, you shouldn't have that problem. The open/close system is built in.

    re my earlier question about not allowing more than one player to be open at once, I just realised that I only have the problem when using Opera. It’s fine in IE and Firefox.

    @msandford:

    Yes, I was aware of that. However, the latest version of Opera (9.5) has fixed this issue. Opera didn’t support a feature called ExternalInterface which allows Flash to communicate with JavaScript. If you upgrade to the latest Opera release, the open/close thing should work just fine.

    hey Martin!

    u’ve done really a gr8 job.

    But can i give the link of audio file to the player manually in html?
