  • Greetings,

The WordPress version of the plugin works fine IF I manually enter the code, for example . . .

    [audio:https://www.domain.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/audio.mp3%5D

but I can’t get it to work with the WordPress Add Audio / Media Library at all, as desribed in the instructions.

When I press the “Audio Player” button in the Media Library, nothing is inserted into the Link URL field, and only the audio title is inserted into the post.

I’m using WP 2.7.1., with all plugins deactivated except the Audio Player. Anybody know what’s going on with this? A bug, or perhaps an incompatibility with 2.7.1? It seems to me the Add Audio method is vital for non-technical users.

when i do insert an audio link into a post, it does find the audio . . . but opens up a new window that plays the file with a standard quicktime player, rather than showing the mini audio player in the body of the post.

how can i fix that?? thanks!

Hi I’ve been trying many different player plugins none of which works. Yours is the only one that brings up an message:

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

I’ve tried it in FF3, Chrome and IE on the OH’s pc and all bring up the same error. I’ve tested my flash version with adobe and that I have java enabled (I can play flash and java games fine) but the player just won’t show up.

    Help is appreciated.

    Many thanks,

    Danielle

I’m having the same problem at the previous post in IE 7.0.5730.13:

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

In Firefox 3.0.10 the player is displayed and links to the correct file, but there is a java error message following the player:

here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

“>Parasite – Battlegrounds Ravecore Mini Mix

I am using WordPress 2.7.1 with WP Audio Player 2.0b6 and have the latest version of Flash 10.0.22.87.

I am linking to audio files on another server, but have changed the audio location in the player setting. If I try to upload an audio file to the same server and change the audio folder in settings, I still get the error message and no player in IE.

Any help much appreciated! I really love this player and want to use it on my site https://www.parasite.org.uk/

    Update:
On rolling my site back to 2.6.1 audio player works but now I can’t load movies o___o I guess the sound was most important…

Im getting the same problem as many others with the plugin but cant find a solution.

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

I keep getting that message when I have the latest version and reinstalled and uninstalled many times.

Does anyone have a clue on solving this problem?

The link where Im getting the error: https://www.findtheshit.com/2009/05/50-cent-ok-your-right/

Ive tried it on Firefox 3 and IE8 and Safari.

    Please and thank you ??

I’m not sure if this has been asked before or not, but I couldn’t force myelf to read 18 pages of comments, so I thought I’d ask:

Is there a way (or plans in the future) to make the 1bit player stop playback of one mp3 when another one is clicked on the same page?

    Thanks a lot!

Hi, I’m having trouble with the layout of my post. If I post more than one track on my page, everything that should be there is but it’ll list the mp3 links first then the players second eg:

    Link
    Link
    Player
    Player

    When it should look like:

    Link
    Player
    Link
    Player

Here’s my site if you would to see how it looks there. Can you please help me figure out how to make it appear properly? I can’t find anything in the options that seems to help.

Opps, forgot the site! https://www.ilovewhat.co.uk, I’m not sure if this issue is with the player itself or with the posting section of my dashboard.

Sorted it now, I just switched audio players!

    Hi,

How can i include a download link next to the player in a post ?

Example: Original Player & Download Link

player works fine inside the website with a post (awesome btw), but on the front page with the post i get the same message as everyone else

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Any ideas on the cure. Why just on the front page and not inside the website with the post?

Running: wp 2.7.1 and just downloaded most recent Version 2.0 beta 6
browser: firefox 3 and even ie, havent used safari

    Thanks for any help!

btw, here is a link to see the error message with audio player in wp 2.7.1 and most recent version 2.0 beta 6 audio player.

    https://www.beatzforsale.com

Thanks for any suggestions on fixing this error!

This was asked before, but I can’t see any replies.

The player works fine in firefox 3.0.10. In IE8, IE7, chrome1, chrome 2, opera The music plays, but the display just says “connecting” and never shows the time info.

I’m using flashplayer 10, and audioplayer 2.0b6 on WP 2.7.1

Did anyone find out what this was all about?

The audio player 2.0 plugin is great, but it would be nice if the javascript additions to the header could figure out if it were called via https:// or https:// and link appropriately. Otherwise, people get a “Secure and Insecure items” error on load in https:// SSL mode.

I am having this same error whenever a https:// SSL page is loaded on my site. Even if there is no Audio-Player on the page.

    PLEASE help…
