[Plugin: Assignment Desk] fatal error on activation

    Hello. I upgraded to WP 3.0.1 and tried version 0.6.1 of the assignment desk and I am getting this error upon activation attempt:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /homepages/29/d260799504/htdocs/reidsvillenow/wp-content/plugins/assignment_desk.php on line 46

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Hey Jeffery,
    Can you confirm that you’re running PHP5? PHP5 is required on your webserver for Assignment Desk to work and most, if not all, web hosts have PHP5 even if it isn’t enabled by default.

    Daniel: Thank you. I was able to force the php5 as default by installing an htaccess file in my root folder. Now my webserver runs php5 by default. Thank you for the lead.

    I was able to activate the plug-in.
