    Hello!

Hard to say what could be the problem without more information. The pictures is not inserted in the visual editor. Have you seen the demo video? (https://www.screenr.com/vB48). There are two ways you can attach a picture to an arlima article. The workflow is as follows:

    1) Drag a wordpress post from the post search to your list. Or create a copy from another article by holding down the ctrl-key (cmd-key on Mac) and then drag the article to a new spot in the article list.

    2) Above the visual editor you have a button labeled “Browse”. Click on that button to upload an image from your computer. An alternative (and faster) way of accomplishing this is to drag an image directly from your computer desktop to the browser and then drop the image on the container where the browse-button is located. The second alternative is what can be seen in the demo video (50 seconds in).

What happens when you try this?

    Hello,

Thank you for your reply. I’ve seen the demo and done the article list and tried to insert a picture. No luck. I can’t edit the article either using the “toggle article preview” and I can’t insert a picture using the “drag and drop” function or even use the browser. Using the browser only says “error; page can not be found”.??? I made an article named “No image and no toggle article preview”. on my front page. The first picture just show you my article-list (that it actually works) and the second show you what happens when I click on “toggle article preview”. Notice the dotted vertical line to the left of the drag and drop box. That is the only result of clicking “t a p”. The drag and drop box, who are highlighted properly, won’t let me drag a picture inside. It will only result in a disappearance of the picture. It will not show up properly. It looks like there is a problem showing pictures in general. I’ve recently changed the width of the side-bars from equal width to the one you can see at the front page. But it doesn’t work when you continue reading an article. Those two vertical lines inside the side-bar is made from a gif-picture and they will not show up in the same way as they do at the front page. Strange? But I can use
“upload image” in the admin editor though.

I just found out that the Arlima plugin does not support image upload in Internet Explorer. So my only advice to you is to change to another browser (Google Chrome or Mozilla firefox). I would give you this advice anyway since Internet Explorer will give you more pain than pleasure even if it would support image uploads in the Arlima plugin.

btw, other features (such as article preview) is only supported by Internet Explorer 9 (and of course Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla FF and Opera). We don’t do any tests for Internet Explorer version 7 or 8.

Thank you – now it works just fine when using google chrome. And it shows up properly when I view it in IE 8, as opposed to round corners for example, that doesn’t work in IE 8. So now I’m happy ??

a small ? = Is there a solution to that if I want the whole page width available thus side-bar moved down under article-list, but only if necessary, if it would show up any “smoking hot news” that you want to provide additional space for larger images?
