[Plugin: AnythingSlider for WordPress] Strips p tags in slides

AnythingSlider is stripping the p tags from my slides, but not any other markup. I’m not having the that problem in my posts and pages – it’s just the slides. Is there some way I can get the slides post type to behave like the rest of the site? Is there an option somewhere I can set that I’m missing?
