[Plugin: AnythingSlider for WordPress] Doesn't Work, Throws Lots of Errors

  • All I got when using this plugin was the content of my two slides in a basic unordered list. Surprised, I went and tested this plugin on a vanilla install of WordPress 3.2.1 using Twenty Eleven with WP_DEBUG turned on, and got these errors:

    Really disappointed because I’ve been spending an entire day looking for a slider plugin that works and still haven’t found one.

    Hey Doug,

    Do you have all of the options in the Settings page setup? Once all of the options are entered, you won’t get the errors.

    I am also getting a ton of “uninitialized string offset: 0” error messages.

    How do we know which settings need to be entered? There are so many of them– do they all need to be changed from the default? Which setting(s), specifically, will throw these errors?

    Hey aradams,

    Were all of the options filled in at plugin activation?

    You can leave all of them at their default value if you’d like, which should resolve any of those errors.
