[Plugin: Antispam Bee] Trackbackspam not regognized since 2.4 update

    Hi!

    I updated my installation of antispambee to 2.4 a few days ago, and since this moment a lot of trackback spam hits my blog. I tried the updated some time ago (when it was released), but it has the same problem. I reverted then to 2.3, but was annoyed by the update notice.

    Due to this experience I’m quite sure it a problem with AntiSpam Bee and not the spammers who got smarter ??

    The Spam Statistics in the Dashboard show a significant drop of recognized spam since the update, from about 15 a day to 3-4 a day.

    Is this a known problem?

    I didn’t changed any of the options after the update.

    (I have no problem communicating in German, if someone prefers…)

  • Many problems are known for 2.4+ but the developers has not been able or willing to address these issues …???

    P.S.: You can change the version number in the extension source in order to avoid the update notifications. The problem remains, however, that the extension will sooner or later no longer be compatible with the then current WordPress version.
