[Plugin: Analytics360] Allowing editor to view Analytics

  • How can I enable the Analytics tab for an editor of my site? I dug through the code and could only find reference to ‘manage_options’ capability. I added this to my ‘editors’ roles using the Members plugin by Justin Tadlock, but still no luck.

    How can I add a specific capability (view_analytics)?

  • I changed all of the instances of “manage_options” to “moderate_comments” in analytics360.php and my Editor can now see the menu option and the data. Since that plugin is read-only, it doesn’t hurt anything that I’ve seen thus far.

    I didn’t change any roles or capabilities.
