This may not be the right place for this question. But I’ve inherited a WP site with AMR users and I’m moving to a totally new install and framework. I’ve successfully exported (awesome!) the user list (csv) via amr, but I’m at odds on how to bring in the user list to the new install. I’ve got amr activated on new install and still learning more about it!

And what’s involved? Does the new list contain user passwords so the migration is transparent to existing users?

    Thanks!

    HI worldrider,

the export was never intended for migration purposes.

it sounds like they are both wp sites, so
why wouldn’t you just use php myadmin to dump the required tables. Edit (search and replace) the sql generated if necessary (eg for prefix changes etc) and then use that sql to upload into the new database ?
