[Plugin: Amazon Product In a Post Plugin] Conflict with Advanced Excerpt plugin

I’m having a conflict with Amazon PIP and the Advanced Excerpt plugin. I want to use Advanced Excerpt to show the product image and a couple of lines of my review, on my home and archive pages. When I activate it, I get two copies of the product image. This seems to be happening because Amazon PIP wraps everything in the post in a big table, which seems unnecessary to me. Anyone else hit this problem and found a solution?
