• I have a newsletter that was evidently sent to both myself (site-admin) and a test user which I have created, a WP user.
I only see one subscriber in the “Alo EasyMail Newsletter: Subscribers” page, but my test newsletter reports that it went to myself and the WP user.
I also have DEBUG mode turned on so the newsletter should not have been sent to anyone but me.
Why is the report stating that it was sent to both users?
I don’t want this newsletter to go out to anyone until I get it perfect. How can I be sure who will receive the newsletter?

WP users and newsletter subscribers are different things.
You told that you have two WP users and one newsletter subscribers. It’s ok.
So the number of recipients who receive the newsletter depends on your recipient choice in newsletter edit screen.
In your case, if you selected “All registered users” as newsletter recipients you sent out 2 emails. If you selected “All subscribers” as newsletter recipients you sent out only one email.
