    I upgraded to 1.6.1 before I read your post, but then deactivated and reactivated for good measure. Now it works, but since I have WP 2.9.2 I’m banging my head against this idiotic WP-Cron error.

    The solution on your website doesn’t work for me, so I’ll see about sorting that out when I’ve had some more sleep.

    ffs

    It seams that i have a similar problem. When i make a new newsletter it puts them in the list but doesn’t send them…

    Hey guys, i had the same issue and what happens is that if you have a lot of subscribers to send to, the insert query get pretty big, so you need to edit the /etc/my.cnf mysql config and set the variable max_allowed_packet to a larger size like 10M

    max_allowed_packet = 10M

    and yes, restart the mysql server after ??

    Hope it helps! Ovidiu

    Your remark is very useful. I’ll keep in mind and I’ll work on that as soon as possible.

    How about if we dont have access to that file?
