• I am using WP 2.81 and have a static home page which uses a template and a blog that uses the default index.php file. I have set the ‘reading’ settings in WP to use my home page as home and my blog page for the blog.

Using the AOSEO plugin I am able to specify the tiels for all the other standard pages in my blog, however, it is not changing the titles for the Home and Blog page. The Blog page just defaults to my site name and description and the homepage just defaults to using the site name.

Any ideas on how I can get this to work?

Have managed to get the titles working for all pages except for the homepage. The homepage is using the title which is added at the top when you edit the page in admin.

I have tried turning rewrite titles on which then makes the homepage title configurable via AOSEO admin, however all the other page titles then stop working.

I am having a similar problem.

I am trying to figure out how I can have the page number change for each category page in my site.

This would help a lot with SEO.

For instance the pages are in this format.

    Free Waterfall Pictures Nature Photography
    https://www.forestwander.com/waterfalls/?cpg=2

    Free Waterfall Pictures Nature Photography
    https://www.forestwander.com/waterfalls/?cpg=3

    Free Waterfall Pictures Nature Photography
    https://www.forestwander.com/waterfalls/?cpg=4

And so on for each page under the waterfalls category.

What I am trying to accomplish is for each page to have a unique title and permalink that is SEO friendly.

(Google is ignoring my individual category pages because of this)

    Such as…

Free Waterfall Pictures Nature Photography Page 2
    https://www.forestwander.com/waterfalls/Page-2

Free Waterfall Pictures Nature Photography Page 3
    https://www.forestwander.com/waterfalls/Page-3

Free Waterfall Pictures Nature Photography Page 4
    https://www.forestwander.com/waterfalls/Page-4

I cannot accomplish this with headspace as I get an error nor can I do it with All in one SEO.

It would be great if there were just some code I could add for the pages to do this in the template or something.

Please help as I do not have the knowledge to accomplish this and hopefully this would help others as well that want to accomplish the same SEO benefits.

Thank you for any help or guidance… ??
