• Today’s update has completely destroyed my site. I updated the files and got this: “Fatal error: Call to a member function are_themes_available() on a non-object in D:\Hosting\6837708\html\md21-a\wp-content\plugins\all-in-one-event-calendar\app\controller\class-ai1ec-app-controller.php on line 95”

I tried to delete it and got the same error. I did a manual install and got a fatal error. I have now totally removed your plug in and my site is working. This is the 2nd time in 2 months I have had this problem with your updates.

You had a perfectly good plug in and have gone and totally screwed it up.I wish you’d left well enough alone.

  • Ouch, good luck with updating in the future.
Today I learned a wise lesson.

Always, take the time, to backup the plugin folder, before updating.

I would like to pass on this knowledge to you good sir.

ps – I find it funny that your D: drive is in the error.. howd you do that?

I have no idea, Ramzii. The D just appears. Maybe because I am using a cache plugin?

I will back up the plugin folder in the future. Thanks for the advice. BTW I am using calpress now for the web site.

    Hi Brian W,

I am really sorry to hear that. For fatal errors such as this, we recommend manually reinstalling the plugin from https://time.ly https://help.time.ly/customer/portal/articles/534931-how-do-i-manually-upgrade-

If this occurs again, please feel free to email us your WP admin and FTP access and we will take a closer look for you.

Also, this may be a plugin conflict, so it may be worth de-activating (temporarily) other plugins such as the cache plugin to see if this resolves the issue.
