    Hi nickaster,

It is on our “New Feature Request” list to give users the ability to change the permalinks. However, at this stage, I cannot confirm if or when it will be implemented.

for what it’s worth, this feature would make the difference between using your plugin or any other. love the feature set you offer, but clients running professional quality websites always balk at it when they see ai1ec_event in the URL. I tried a global find and replace in the plugin files, but that caused the plugin to crash.

+1 for this request. If the events would be custom posts this should be possible. Have not done enough research into this neat plugin though so I don’t know how hard it is to achieve.

Ok thanks Rhand, this feature is currently being worked on by our dev team. We appreciate your feedback!

Let us know the answer as well please…

yes, would be nice to have clean urls. and events as custom posts would make things easier to change.

very, very good plugin though. best i’ve found

    thanks

I asked a similar question on WordPress.StackExchange.com and this link will take you to an answer I received.

    Caveats:

    1. I asked about altering the plugin’s permalink structure after the plugin is already installed.
    2. I have not attempted to implement this yet, but I think it could be helpful for you all as well as the Time.ly development team.

Thanks for the additional info, Josh. I have forwarded this link to the dev team in case it is useful to them.
