• I notice two problems on how multi-day events are displayed on website:

    1. When I insert a multi-day all-day event (using repeat function so it will be listed on every day rather than one entry in agenda view), it adds an extra day at the end. For example, an event that runs Jan 15-21 becomes Jan 15-22.

    2. If I insert event time as Feb 24 @ 9 am – Feb 26 @ 7 pm (not using repeat function), the agenda view lists the event only under Feb 24, and when you click on it to expand and see preview of event details, the top bar of the event box lists event time as 9 am – 7 pm. This misleads reader to think this is a single day event that runs 9-7 when it is not the case. I agree the event should be listed on its first day, but perhaps the start and end date and time can be listed in the event box top bar?

Would anyone know how to solve these problems? Thanks!

Additional problem to #2 is the same holds true for event excerpts, which display event title, date and time, when they are viewed on the homepage slider.

I share your #1 problem: an extra day is added when I choose an end date for the Daily Repeat. I think it started happening after the most recent plugin update. Any one else getting this bug?

That being said, the other bells and whistles added to the Repeat dialogue in the last update are AWESOME.

I’m experience the same problem as #2
Would be great if the event is spanned over the given period of dates/time. Or at least communicates that it’s a period of a few days.

    Great plugin by the way.

    Problem 1 and 2.

The closest I was able to get to the behaviour I wanted for a 2 day all day event was telling the event to repeat and set it to repeat every day until… and set that date the same as the first date.

So two day event that is on March 9 and March 10.
Set all day event for March 9
Tell the event to repeat every one 1 day
    End on date: March 9

the Calendar comes back and says: Daily until March 10 (It adds one day to whatever you enter).

In the month view, I now have my all day even showing on both days – Yay!

    Clicking on March 9 says When: March 9, 2012 (all-day) Repeats:Daily until March 10, 2012 (Confusing)

    Clicking on March 10 says When: March 10, 2012 – March 11, 2012 (all-day)
Repeats: Daily until March 10, 2012 (Confusing)

But I think less confusing than If I had entered in how it was supposed to be.
