    Hi mmm222,

I am sorry to hear that the site is not working in IE8. As you mention, unfortunately we only support IE9 and above, however if this is an important issue for you, we do have fee-for-service available for custom requests. Would you like me to get a quote for you? If so please provide further information on the issue. Thanks

    Richard,

When the plugin is active and a user browses to the site with IE8, it begins to load but stops and shows the message, “Internet Explorer has stopped trying to restore this website.” Based on some posts in other forums, I tried disabling browser add-ons and making the site a “trusted site.” I couldn’t find a solution, even if All-in-one Event Calendar was the only active plugin.

The theme I am working with is Light of Peace by a developer named Edwin. His support forum is at https://support.population-2.com/.

Please provide me with a quote.

    Hi mmm22,

I am looking into a quote for you and I will get back to you shortly.

    Thanks for your patience.

I would like to know more about this service as well please. I’m currently using the plugin for an intranet I’m working on for our agency. Trouble is the agency I work for are using ie8 (don’t ask why) and this is unchangeable. So any help adapting the plugin for older browsers will be welcome.

I noticed the main issue was with the CSS which isn’t a massive problem, but we will want to keep up with the updates of the plugin and are hoping it won’t stray too far from being able usable in ie8.

    Hello mmm22 and hypeon,

I have spoken with our associated web development team (The Seed Studio), and they told me that this job is quite complex and would involve a lot of work. This is one of the reasons why our calendar is no longer being supported in IE8. They charge $120.00 per hour and they estimated that it would take a few days. Obviously this is not ideal.

If you would like some more information however and are seriously considering this as an option, you can email [email protected] and she can provide you with a more precise quote.

    Thanks.
