[Plugin: All-in-One Event Calendar] Importing from CiviCRM/CiviEvent Calendar

  • I am trying to import an event calendar from CiviCRM on an existing site to the new WordPress site using All-in-One Event Calendar. Is there a way to import an .ics FILE rather than a URL feed? The existing site is going to be taken down, so that option won’t work to use the URL feed. Also, how do I retain all of the event description details and links typed in when exporting the events? I managed to sync it with Yahoo! calendar but all it imports it the title/date/time.

    Any help is greatly appreciated so I don’t have to manually enter all of these events into the new calendar!

    I don’t have any answer or suggestion to you problem. Sorry!
    I just want to ask you about CiviCRM.
    What is your experience / opinion about CiviCRM?
    Are going from another CMS to WordPress?
    Did you try the WordPress version of CiviCRM?

    I have to prepare a website for a nonprofit organisation and they want to use CiviCRM. A collegue told me that the Drupal version is ok but it seem that the WordPress version is not very easy to use?!
