    Two events occurring before end of Daylight Savings have their beginning and/or end times change every time I update the events. 7:30 start time on Oct 27th becomes 6:30 and 9:00 end time on Nov. 3 changes to 8:00 when I Update the post and 7:00 on the post display. I tried ending at 10:00 with the same 1 hour and 2 hour changes on Update and Post display respectively.

    Appears to be tied to Daylight Savings roll-off since there’s no problem when the date is set to Nov. 4 when DST ends.

    Hi Idekay,

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This is a bug. The dev team have been made aware of this and are working to resolve the issue. We thank you for your patience in the interim.

    I had a problem with this too – when GMT returned the events that were entered before GMT were all an hour out. Manually altering the times seems to have fixed it – just as well there weren’t too many.

    Hi kevjon and judetheobscure,

    The dev team has prioritized working on this issue. They are aware of the seriousness of so many events being 1hour off. Thank you for your patience while they work towards resolving this.

    Are you ever going to fix this bug?
    I just updated the plugin and there is no change,

    @kevjon,

    This issue seems to only occur during the times when there is a lag time between timezones moving the clocks forward/backward. Our dev team has looked into this and plan on incorporating it into a later release, however I cannot give you an exact date.

    However, if we can demonstrate to the dev team that this issue is affecting your events throughout the whole year, then this would help promote the issue in the priority list. Please can you email your website login info to [email protected] so I can further document this for them?

    The bug applies to almost half the year! I have had to reset my location in WordPress from “London” to “Luxembourg” to get the right times for all my events, and then will have to reset it again when the time changes next spring. This is ridiculous.
    I suggest that the times simply be text, because they are entirely local to the event location and nothing to do with the time zone of either the event or the person who submits the event. The time zone of the event can be stated as well as the local time at submission stage, if that would help.
    And I’m not giving you my site login details, it is perfectly obvious what the problem is.

    Hi Kevjon,

    Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. The workaround given by our dev team is to manually update each event. If you have a large number of events then please provide WordPress admin and we can take a closer look into this for you. This should be fixed in a future release.

    Regards

    (Sorry to miss this – I’ve been away.)
    I’ll stay with using the wrong location, it’s a lot easier than changing dozens of entries. I look forward to your progress on this issue.
