[Plugin: Aleph] Some issues and maybe future features?
-
Hello,
first of all congrats for the great plugin, it demonstrates how Wp can turn into a powerful social network.I’ve just installed it and I’m making some tests on profiles and other stuff, I have a list of current issues and future features that maybe can be added in the near future to the plugin. Here’s the list:
-
Make users with photo / avatar sticky (display users with no avatar after)
Confirm being added as a contact
Ability to browse added contacts further info: email address, further info (e.g. location and so on)
Add “I don’t know this person” link information on contact request
Add a “User requested to add you as a contact” info
Personal message to single contact (via email, visible in dashboard?)
Personal message to all contacts (via email, visible in dashboard?)
Ability to block a contact (to avoid spam)
Add more profile elements (e.g. link to their social networks)
Fix nice urls issues (currently ‘siteurl’ claiming wp installation folder)
Add a search users functionality: by location, etc.
Display similar users in personal profile (by location, by interests…)
Display comments list from the user
Fix user capability by role: basic users cannot currently add more info on profile (using role manager)
Make profile editable from a custom theme template (and not from WP backend)
Display total number of contacts on profile pageI really don’t know if there are technical issues that can make some of these not working, but that would be nice to have this stuff in a community.
thanks a lot, ciao!
