• I’m trying to use Akismet for one of my sites. I want to grant access to the Akismet stats/management for one of my users whom I have granted Editor role so that I don’t need to do this as administrator. Is this possible? If not, is there another solution for editors to manage spam?

I originally wanted to use the “Comment is held for moderation” option in WordPress, but I get the email notifications as my email is set as the email address in General Settings.

Yes, a user with the Editor role will be able to moderate comments and use Akismet.

Thanks for the response. Can you let me know where the editor is able to do this? I logged in as an editor and didn’t see the Akismet management in the upper-left corner (dashboard box) as I did when logged in as admin.

That section is actually only for the Akismet stats, and it’s only available to Administrators.

Editors can still use Akismet to mark comments as spam and un-spam false positives from the Comments section of the Dashboard.
