I ended up going back to 0.9.9.2. Didn’t like the “Loading Events” pop-up, the recurring icon on all the events that overlapped the text (in IE), and the layout of the month’s arrows in IE wasn’t formatted correctly.

I would like to disable that “Loading Events” notification also.

Or: Is it possible to eliminate jGrowl completely? How? What would be lost in that case?

Please post a fix for this. I really like this plugin and if I can’t eliminate this particular message from displaying on every page (I am using a mini calendar in a sidebar text widget), I will have to find another solution and I really don’t want to since everything else about this plugin works for me.

I got an answer from the developer. You can hide it by adding #jGrowl{display:none !important} to your theme style sheet. I tried it and it did exactly what I was looking for but did not hide other notifications when updating the calendar, which btw is fine with me.

Thank you, JimKubik, for posting that solution! It works great!
