I love this plugin, but I am just trying to get it to fit our needs.

https://templeofbliss.com/calendar-demo/
(Please navigate to December’s calendar to see the events I am entering)

I would like to be able to organize the events on any particular day by category rather than by time of day.

Also, I would love to be able to make the categories/filters at the top break into two lines rather than just one long line. I changed the database to accept a longer category name, but I would most like it to read something like

The Loft Temple
San Rafael/Marin

In two lines like that.
Any ideas?

Thank you so much.

Try adding a
to the name where you want the line break – but know that it won’t appear on two lines in the event editor form, it will appear as one line with a
in the middle.

Thanks .. but it didn’t work … the
just shows up in the menu – I left it up for a second so you can look if you want to.

Also was wonder if you have any ideas how I can get the events to be ordered by category rather than time of day?

Ya, it was a long shot – the fields are escaped, so there really is no way to do what you want easily.

No easy way to change the order – you’d have to change one of the queries and possibly some of the display logic.
