[Plugin: Ajax Event Calendar] adding, editing events not working

All was ok apart from the details window on the front-end, which was not displaying when an event was clicked on in the calendar (admin was fine though)

Just implemented the .js file replacement fix, totally worked! Thanks v much zenixLR.

I use Firefox. Sure, I check viewer experience under Internet Explorer at turning points. Otherwise don’t go to IE. Merrily inputting to AEC Ajax Event Calendar as everything works FINE in Firefox. OMG – out of the blue happened to open IE and click an AEC event — event detail box for the public would not open! I KNOW it used to work on IE, don’t know when it bumped (maybe on one of Their upgrades?). THANK YOU zenixLR for your explicit instructions. I was able to FIX it for IE within only a few minutes !!! Wow, great timing.

I am having trouble finding the .js file that zenixLR recommended. The url doesn’t work. Is someone able to point me in the direction to get the this fixed js file? Thanks!

Hi,
redaxmedia removed his code from GitHub.
But it seems that’s because Eric Martin push a new version (1.4.5) of his SimpleModal library to fix this particular issue (I think so but didn’t test it yet).

Try to replace jquery.simplemodal.js by his new version.

If it doesn’t work, I could post the old redaxmedia’s version somewhere to download..

zenixLR, can you please post the redaxmedia 1.4.99 js file somewhere so I can grab it. In desperate need of this file. Thanks so much.

Hi,
you don’t need redaxmedia’s version anymore.
Juste download and install the latest file from the original author, Eric Martin. (see my post just above yours)
It fix this perticular issue.

Thanks for replying. I still can’t add events to the calendar and I have updated to the latest version by Eric Martin. Any suggestions? If not, can you post the Redaxmedia file?
