[Plugin: AJAX Contact] Change "From Email"

  • Hey,

    following Question:
    when a user sends me a message using the contact form appears in my email account in the sender’s address “from WordPress ([email protected])”. So when I click “Reply ” for sending the user a answer, the RE-mail will not be sent out to the User, but to me again.
    How and where can I change this (so that the e-mail address of the user, which he has stated in the contct form, will be used in the RE-function)???

    Hi Nessaia,

    As of version 1.5.0 it is not possible to set a form field (e.g. an Email Address field) to appear as the senders email address, this functionality is expected in 2.0.0.

    Hi,

    i am using version 1.6.0 and when someone fills in the contact form, we recieve the email from “[email protected]” .. cant we change it to recieve it from the “email address field” ?

    I’m using version 2.0 – is this functionality now available?
