Plugin Advice: I want to copy another blog’s trick but can’t figure out how

Hi there,

Apologies up front for posting to “Everything WordPress” but I don’t know yet which plugin I am looking for. Or…if I even need a plugin at all.

I recently came across an Instagram landing page on a wordpress site and I really like it. The photos on the landing page are the same as the Instagram grid BUT on the landing page the photos link to their respective posts on the user’s blog.

I have scanned the blog’s source code to see if I could figure out the plugin, but I’m not sure any of the ones in the source are the right ones. I also looked at the post captions to see if they matched up or if there was a hashtag that might have triggered an action (maybe useful via IFTTT). But I couldn’t find anything there either.

Do any of you have any advice? I think this is a great way to use Instagram to get more eyes on my blog. Now just to figure out the trick.
