Plugin Advice: Google Apps Integration

Hi all,

I am busy planning a replacement website for a school I am with. We use Google Apps throughout the school, with 35 staff, 120 students and other external stakeholders (parents, suppliers, etc). I don’t really mind about the external stakeholders logging in.

I’d like to allow staff and students to login directly using a Google Login (Possibly “Google Apps Login”, and related apps). Once logged in, I’d like to be able to have “intelligent” links to google applications (GMail icon with unread message count?, Google Drive, etc). Perhaps even a mini-GMail top messages list?

The other thing I’d like is a calendar. For non-logged in users, we can send a google calendar feed (public school calendar), for logged in users, it would be nice to change this to be their own Google Calendar

Any suggestions as to the best plugins that can be implemented to do this? I can’t be the first person looking for this!
