It looks like upgrading instructions were deleted somehow from the website. I will spend some time tomorrow updating them. In a nutshell, follow these instructions:

    1. Deactivate Adsense Manager.
    2. Install Advertising Manager.
    3. There will be a message that tells you that Adsense Manager settings were upgraded to Advertising Manager. Hit ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to the banner.

All of your settings should be imported into Advertising Manager, and there is no need to modify your templates.

Something more comprehensive should be available tomorrow.

    Cheers,
    Scott

    Thanks.

If you’re using widgets, remember to replace the AdSense Manager spots with the Advertising Manager ones. I overlooked that simple procedure and was wondering what the hell happened to my ads.

I tried this and I don’t get the banner. Also when I go to ads in the Dashboard this is what I see instead of my ads.

Fatal error: Unknown(): The script tried to execute a method or access a property of an incomplete object. Please ensure that the class definition ad_adsense of the object you are trying to operate on was loaded _before_ the session was started in /nfs/c02/h02/mnt/24744/domains/uglyorgan.net/html/wp-content/plugins/advertising-manager/Template/WP27/ListAds.php on line 125

and my ads are all dead, how do I fix this?

    uglyorgan:

Do you have Adsense Manager still enabled? It looks like you do. Can you try to disable Adsense Manager and see how that works? I also rolled a new version (3.3.14) which automatically detects this issue.

    Cheers,
    Scott

    No it’s disabled.

Now I deleted 3.3.13, installed 3.3.14, because it told me that I had the latest version installed even though I clearly didn’t. Installed .14 and am getting the same error with a DISABLED adsense manager.

    uglyorgan:

If you could contact me on skype (switzer) I can work through the issue with you in real time.

    Cheers,
    Scott
