[Plugin: Advanced Permalinks] Tags with periods are throwing 404 error!

Hi i have installed Advanced Permalinks so that i can include PEROIDS “.” in my WordPress permalinks! After installing the Advanced Permalinks i successfully managed to include periods in my POSTS permalinks!

Now the problem is that after installing the plugin my tags are displaying 404! All tags which are in the following format “abcde-3.0” are displaying 404. Before installing the plugin, these tags were displaying the posts in which i had included these tags! However after installing the plugin, “https://example.com/tag/abcde-3.0/” is displaying 404 but changing PERDOID “.” to DASH “-” manually resolves the issue i-e “https://example.com/tag/abcde-3-0/”

So what your plugin do is that it allows periods in posts permalinks but shows a 404 in all tags which are of the form “abcde-3.0” but works after replacing PERIOD with DASH in permainks i-e “abcde-3-0”.
