[Plugin: Advanced Excerpt] How to remove all line breaks and tags? LIke the default excerpt?

Client wants no line breaks at all, they just want continuous text like the default excerpt behaviour. In my settings, I have disabled all tags, but seems to still apply the <p> tags and

Any hints/clues/help is appreciated.
