[Plugin: Advanced Access Manager] Metaboxes & Widgets as Grid (like Adminimize)

    I want to ask you. I have and use Advaced Access Manager to Roles, Capabilities and Menu orders, but not for access to sections in Metaboxes and Widgets.
    There are plugin Adminimize, which is for this richer.

    And questions:

    Do you plan in the future extends Metaboxes ?

    And second question. In present is some way to disable (comment code etc..) this feature to avoid problems when in Adminimize section could be enabled and in AAM it could be disabled.
    I know, i should don’t use it when i don’t want it, but I’m not only one administrator.

  • Hi Radovan,
    I checked Adminimize and it has a lot of features. That is true.

    I’m planning to extend Metaboxes in release 1.6.3. It’ll have a possibility to filter frontend widgets. Probably I’ll add and a possibility to change the metabox’s attributes like title, position etc.
    And you gave a good idea. Probably I’ll and to ConfigPress additional parameters like:
    metabox_filtering = “false”
    post_filtering = “false”
    etc.
