[Plugin: Advanced Access Manager] error on de-activate

    hi, using v 1.6.3 of AAM plugin. When i de-activate from the plugin admin area i am getting errors displayed on frontend and admin login screen, and cannot log in to the backend – error is

    Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘adjust2ssl’ not found or invalid function name in /home/site/public_html/wp/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 170
    ?
    had to restore wordpress installation from backup
    I would like to de-activate and delete the plugin (without errors) and re-consider my sites access needs.

  • Hi shady,
    When you deactivate AAM it just can’t make any impact on your system.
    Find where this adjust2ssl function is. And contact plugin’s auther. This function definitely not in AAM.

    my apologies, yes i understand that. I have done some troubleshooting and determined that this is likely a theme issue.
    What i do not understand is that, with V1.6.3 of AAM plugin activated, everything appears to be running cleanly, yet when i update the plugin or deactivate it, i get the php warnings dispayed. Reinstalling the previous version will not get the errors displayed.

    Previous version had internal error reporting feature which redirected all errors, warnings and notices to internal AAM function.
    I removed this feature few releases before and that is why now you see them.
