Hello! I just installed this today and it looks like it is everything I’ve been looking for in a Role Manager. Nice one!

One thing I am experiencing, and I have been all over the forum trying to find the solution, is that although I have enabled (or rather, not *disabled*) menu items, they are not appearing for the roles I create.

For instance, I created a role called ‘site administrator’ (we are on a multi-site set up), which has full access to Posts, Pages, and Appearance>>Widgets. But, while ‘Pages’ appears in the menu for Site Admins, ‘Posts’ and ‘Appearence>>Widgets’ does not. I have double and triple checked the set up in AAM and they seem fine (Posts matches Pages, etc).

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Let me Edit that last post:

Pages and Posts are appearing correctly, but Appearence is not and I have allowed access for Site Admins to Widgets and Menus.

    Thanks!

OK – I found the answer here: https://whimba.org/faq

I basically just gave Site Admins the ‘administrator’ backend priviledges, but restricted them on Main Menu and that seemed to work.
