• So i choose a user role from the general meta box…

then click on the POSTS & TAXONOMIES tab…

then click on any page or post…

Then on the right the following list of capabilities appears

    • List
    • Exclude
    • Read
    • Trash
    • Delete
    • Edit
    • Publish
    • Comment

with two columns of checkboxes for “Frontend” and “Backend” for each capability

Do these checkboxes Grant or Restrict capabilities ???

I check some off, then log out and test and they don’t appear to do anything.

This plugin looks really promising, but the lack of clarity and documentation makes it more difficult to use than is probably necessary.

Thanks in advance for any help and for all of your hard work you have put into this.

  • Same for me, could not find out how this is intended to work.

    Any links to some documentation?

    Mario

Hey all, I believe for pages or posts to be grant or restrict (in the posts & taxonomies tab), you have to purchase the premium version per the about page listed on the site:

To answer the question, checking the boxes “restricts” the particular user or group from accessing the page/post/taxonomy capabilities that are listed for front and back end.
