I temporarily deactivated the AAM plugin to test out a different plugin. Before doing so I restored the _Visitor role to default. None of the other roles were changed. After deactivating the AAM plugin all of my custom post types are now hidden from all users including the administrators. All appears fine on the backend all posts are fine but upon viewing the site everything is missing.

This needs to be fixed add soon as possible!

  • Hi savedbygrace979,
If you deactivated AAM, it means something else causes this problem. AAM does not modify system behavior. It just uses native filters and actions. And they can be triggered ONLY if AAM is active.

I fixed this myself and am deactivating and deleting this plugin.
