Plugin: Advanced Access Manager – All Users not working?

When I select “All Users” for the current user role, shouldn’t my custom settings (hiding pages by checking ‘Read – frontend’) affect ALL USERS in that same role? It is not working this way. I have to go to each user and change their ability to view pages one-by-one and then it works. Am I understanding this correctly or is this a bug?
