Sorry, for seeing this thread so late. Do you use any other plugins or do you have your TinyMCE somehow modified? The plugin inserts a button to the secind row of buttons of the editor. There might be a reason for interferences.

Could you drop some source code of the edit screen to [email protected] ?

    Thanks

Just had an idea. I have all adblockers disabled and therefore no problems, I guess. The button and the whole plugin for the editor are called ‘AdSenseTargeting’, which most probably results in a block and might prvent the toolbar from being loaded.

However, in the new version of the plugin, which is available right now, the whole thing is changed to ‘GoogleIgnoreTags’ and shouldn’t result in breaking the editor anymore.

Yes, you’re right! I disabled adblock and there is no problem!
Just a notice: issue still remain with new version 1.2 I’ve just installed.
I use Adblock Plus for Firefox.

Strange, I didn’t encounter that problem ever. Especially with the newer version.

I use Adblock Plus for Firefox.

So do I and it told me with the old button (named AdSenseTargeting) that it would be blocked because of the keyword ‘adsense’.

Do you have some plugin installed that customizes the editor in some way? I will have to check more things out, obviously…

    Adblock Plus only block this:

    url: https://www.comerisparmio.net/wp-content/plugins/adsense-targeting/tinymce/editor_plugin.js?ver=349-21274

    filter: /adsense-

Very strange. It doesn’t block it at my testing environment. But that is something, I cannot help anymore. I can’t change the name of the plugin; I would have to ask a new namespace for it and submit a second one…

Sorry for that. But if you turn of adblock-plus on the admin of your blog, everything should be alright.

No problem at all, I confirm that if I turn off adsense block for my admin area (or simply allow unique url blocked) all works fine.
Thank you very much for support!
