Is there a way to change the AddtoAny retweet settings?

AddtoAny uses Twitter’s t.co, which then gets rewritten — on the Twitter post — as a broken link back to my website. That’s fine, except that when you RT the post, the link disappears. It’s just plain text: xyz.com/zzzyyy/… (That’s not very bright on Twitter’s part, considering how many people manually retweet posts using the RT initials.)

Anyhow, how can I switch AddtoAny’s retweet url shortener to bit.ly? That one keeps the “http:bit.ly.xxx” on the Twitter post and for that reason is easier to retweet.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

A ‘generic’ Twitter standalone button is included and it uses bit.ly’s j.mp domain, so you can use that instead of the Tweet button.
