[Plugin: AddToAny: Share/Bookmark/Email Button] pic & excerpt don't display when sharing on

    My AddToAny plugin works fine, except it refuses to display picture and excerpt when attempting to share this blog post on Facebook. (I’m talking about the AddToAny at the bottom of the post, NOT the green ShareThis button top right.)

    Picture and excerpt do display perfectly when sharing any other of my blog posts on Facebook.

    For the life of me I cannot figure out what’s different about this one post as opposed to all my other posts.

    With time, the issue solved itself, i.e., suddenly picture and excerpt displayed fine.

    My suspicion was that it had to do with the Disqus comment system I had recently installed and that it may have created some sort of conflict. I informed Disqus, and then the issue went away. So I don’t know if the Disqus folks did something to fix it, or if it just fixed itself.

    Thanks for updating this, cyberquill. If it wasn’t an issue with Disqus it was likely Facebook itself. Facebook’s sharing feature is quirky all too often and tends to resolve issues like this one over time because of the way they cache shared pages.
