Plugin adds css to wp_footer causing w3c validation error

    Hi Neil.

    Thanks for letting us know about your issue.

    By default the 5.0 versions of the plugin add scripts into header, with no options to select adding scripts into the footer. You might be using an older version, or you might have settings from an older version of the plugin specifying that scripts should be added to the footer (that are somehow still being respected).

    I’d suggest:

    1) Make sure you’re at 5.0.7. If not, upgrade.

    2) If you’re still having issue, you might want to go into your database and delete the addthis_settings option. (Copy down your pub/profile id, though. You’ll want to keep that around for your sharing statistics.)

    3) Go back in and reconfigure the plugin (step 2 just deleted your configurations)
