    I select an image to upload and save, then nothing. The image does not appear on the plugin page. No images show, not even the theme’s default instructional image that appears in the admin bar at the top. There is no image in the plugin page for me to choose. The admin bar at the top shows the theme’s default instructional image. I am using PHP5s

    I feel sheepish. It was not the plugin, and not a conflict with any other plugin. It was my php.ini file. For security reasons, I had made some changes to my php.ini file. One of the changes locked things down so tight at the uploading media would not work and even the php function for getting the size of an image stopped working. Sigh. It is tough just trying to be secure.
