• Hi,

I just installed the “Add Local Avatar” plugin and when I activated it, it wrote an error in every post on the frontpage:

Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in /home/website/public_html/linkdumpbeta/wp-content/plugins/add-local-avatar/avatars.php on line 553

Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in /home/website/public_html/linkdumpbeta/wp-content/plugins/add-local-avatar/avatars.php on line 553

So, looking at it, it seems that it can’t find a value in an array located in the “generate_avatar_in_posts” function.

I tried messing around with the code and defining the arrays but, sadly, nothing seems to work.

If the author had a quick solution or a tip on how to solve this problem, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks a lot for your time,

    Justin

Update: Pretty sure it has to do with the declaration of the “$matches” array, since in the “for” loop, its got 2 dimensions and when it is defined, there’s just one.

    I could be wrong thought.

I’m sure you are wrong. “Messing around with the code” is not a smart strategy. This doesn’t happen for anyone else. I suspect you have a clash with some other plugin – please deactivate ALL your plugins and then re-activate one at a time to discover the culprit.
