[Plugin: Add Link to Facebook] Creating the Facebook App – Where is the Create App button???

    Hi there,

    I just downloaded and installed this plugin as it looked like it would be perfect, but I can’t follow the instructions for creating the Facebook App because they are no longer accurate.

    There is no longer a “Create App” button on the page the plugin writer suggests. I’ve searched high and low on facebook’s developer site and I can’t find it.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

  • I have check and the instructions (look under other notes) are accurate. I have clarified some little things. Maybe the screenshots can help to find thing.

    Thanks Marcel for the quick reply.

    The problem was two-fold:

    1) I’m not very familiar with Facebook, and therefore

    2) I didn’t know (and the instructions explain) that I had to create a developer account before I could do anything. Once I did that then the “Create New App” button appeared just as your screenshot showed.

    Looks like a great plugin, and after I kick the tires a little I think I’ll be purchasing your pro version. Looks like it’s well worth the money you’re asking.
