  • i have the same problem….

    +1

    Always the same PB…

Error: This users root directory is not readable. Please have your site administrator correct the Add From Server root directory settings.

    I don’t get the answer.
When I try to change the Add From Server root directory in options it just comes up with the same error message.
My httpdocs folder is set to 750 and the wordpress folders to 755.
The options page reports my root dir as:
    /var/www/vhosts/’mysite’.co.uk/httpdocs/wordpress/

Also I cannot get the plugin to work as I get ‘you do not have permission to access this page. EDIT That’s when I try moving the image from the root to a folder within the uploads folder and then try add from server to shift it to the library.

Anyone help? I’m going round in circles trying to get a whole bunch of pictures already in a folder to be recognized by the stupid media library! They’re right there!!! ??
