[Plugin: Add Descendants As Submenu Items] Option to show all categories or just those with posts

  • I’m working on a site that has a large number of categories that I need to use for menu items. Due to the known problem with menus and many categories, I searched for a solution and came up with ‘Add Descendants As Submenu Items’. It’s exactly what we need…

    When I installed the plugin and set up my first menus, I noticed that not all my sub-categories were being listed under a category. As I looked for an explanation, I noticed that only those categories that have posts are listed in my menus.

    So, my questions are: 1). Have I missed a setting somewhere that would give me all the sub-cats under my menu? 2). Is it possible to have this as an option?
