[Plugin: Ad Injection] Ad is not showing up

  • – my blog URL is https://www.funpaleo.com

    – I use the twentyeleven theme

    – I Installed the plugin Ad Injection and I entered the adwords code for the bottom ad

    – I am not using a cache plugin (I did have WP Supercache before but it was disabled
    before installing this plugin)

    – I went through all these steps:

    1. Copy and paste your ad code into the ad code boxes. [Goto adverts]
    2. Choose how many ads of each type you want displayed. [Goto ad placement settings]
    3. Make sure ads are enabled for the page types you want them to be enabled for. [Goto global settings]
    4. Check the ad insertion mode. You will probably want ‘direct’ mode unless you are 1) using a caching plugin AND 2) are using the dynamic features (dynamic restrictions or ad rotation). [Goto ‘Ad insertion mode and dynamic ad display restriction’]
    5. Enable your ads by selecting the ‘on’ option at the top. [Goto global settings]

    – I don’t see the bottom Ad anywhere on https://www.funpaleo.com/2012/08/19/low-carb-eggplant-pepper-onions/ for example

    – here is the debug output:

    Hi nima1981, I can see your ad!

    You might now be able to see it yet as Google might not have an ad to show *you*, but they do have an ad to show *me*. I’m sure even if you can’t see an actual ad, you’ll see a blank box where the ad should be.

    If you check the HTML you’ll see the ad code is there.

    If you wait another day or so then I’m sure Google will have found some ads to show you as well.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    I actually I don’t see the Ad box and I also don’t see the ad anywhere in the HTML code.

    I did have an ad that I had manually put into the template before so maybe my cache is somehow still serving that up to you? (even though it shouldn’t since I deactivated it)

    LOL. I thought I needed to tick the checkbox in order for the Ad to show, not to not show!

    Works now!
